Camping with Love for Nature
We are the Letca family, and La Odai is our passion project. We are locals here, raised with love and respect for nature, values that we try to pass on to the little ones. La Odai is the perfect opportunity to offer all nature lovers an authentic camping and glamping experience in Bran - Moieciu.
The story of La Odai began a few years ago, following a family trip to England, from where we returned determined to bring another accommodation experience in the Bran - Moieciu area, that of glamping in harmony with the environment.
In 2019, between the slopes of Bucegi and Piatra Craiului, away from the asphalt and civilization, we erected in Pestera village, on the land of our great-grandparents, a simple holiday cottage. The time we spend here has made us realize how much we lack these moments of tranquility in our everyday life. We would like to share such a revelation with those who seek, just like we do, an escape into the green heart of nature.
At La Odai, natural elements converge with modern, ecological facilities, under the area’s traditional motif. Our houses, cottages and tents are connected to a network with photovoltaic panels, while some of the water used, comes from the pouring rains.
Even the name of the location rests under the symbol of tradition and heritage, for in the old days, here, our ancestors erected animal shelters in the winter, called Odai. Caught up in their work by the early winter evenings, far from the village, people used to sleep in the attic of these Odai, with their animals.
